1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address and password. Your password is hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
WhatsApp Messages
To provide our AI reply service, we process the content of WhatsApp messages you receive. Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 encryption. We store message metadata including emotion analysis and risk scores to provide analytics features.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use JediChatAI including features used, reply suggestions approved or dismissed, and session activity. This helps us improve our service.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store your credit card details. We only receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.
Voice Notes and Files
If you record or upload a voice note, a PDF or an image, we process it to produce a
transcript, a summary or a suggested reply. Audio files are deleted from our servers
immediately after transcription.
Device and Connection Information
When you sign in we record your IP address and a description of your device so you
can review your active sessions and so we can detect suspicious access. We also
store a push notification token if you allow notifications.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers who assist us in operating our platform (e.g. cloud hosting, payment processing)

- In the event of a merger or acquisition, with prior notice to users
AI Providers
To generate replies, transcribe voice notes and analyse documents or images, the
relevant content is sent to our AI providers, Anthropic and OpenAI, for processing.
They act as processors on our behalf and do not use your content to train their
models. This is the only category of content we share for processing.
WhatsApp
Messages you choose to send are delivered through WhatsApp, operated by Meta.
5. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings in the
app, or by emailing privacy@jedichatai.com. Deletion removes your messages, contacts,
notes and settings, and cannot be undone. We complete requests within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how users interact with our website. You can opt out of analytics cookies using the cookie consent banner.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
JediChatAI is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of JediChatAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
